Welcome!

On behalf of the Commanding General, Fort Gordon, Georgia, we take great pleasure in welcoming you to The Gordon Club Conference Center.  We strive to provide diversity in programming, so our patrons may find entertainment and events to satisfy their tastes.  Our fully trained staff can assist you in planning and preparing any type of celebration, for our military and their family members, government civilian employees and their guests, and civilian guests who wish to experience an event at The Gordon Club Conference Center.  Our facilities consist of two large Grand Ball rooms, and four smaller rooms.  These rooms can host events that can accommodate up to 500 guests in one seating.  We look forward to serving you. 

ENTRANCE INTO THE POST... Because of recent events, all personnel, must have proper identification (pictured ID) when entering the post.  Please make sure that all your  guests have  their identification on them when attending your event (Please note that each person in the vehicle must have identification

  • Gate 5:  Open 24 hours, accessible to  all vehicles.

  • Gate 2:  Open  Mon. - Fri.

House Rules

We must comply with Department of The Army Regulations and directives.  By regulation, we are not permitted to subsidize the cost of private parties.  Our prices reflect the  costs necessary to provide the types of services requested.  No group or individual may receive special prices or privileges that are not available to all patrons.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS...

A reservation for a function is tentative until the  sponsor signs a catering agreement and makes a deposit.  Deposits for South Ball Room, and the North Ball Room is $400.00.  Deposits for the North Ball Room with the Victoria Room, and Wheeler Room is  $600.00.  Deposits for the Victoria Room, Wheeler Room, and Magnolia room is $200.00.  To help assure the success of your event, please review the agreement carefully to be certain that all your requirements have been noted.   Any  requirements that are not on the catering contract are not binding. For large functions, we recommend that one individual be designated to coordinate all requirements with the catering office.  Any changes to the agreement should be made only by the person designated by the sponsor signing the  agreement.  Please  schedule an appointment with a catering  representative by calling (706) 791-2205/6780.

GUARANTEES...
Please provide us with the approximate number of expected attendees at the time of the signing of the contract.  Sponsors are required to furnish the  catering office  with the  guaranteed number of attendees at least 10 days prior to  the function, and the final arrangements for the event.  At this time the final payment for the event is also to be paid in full. 

CANCELLATIONS...
Cancellation of a function without sufficient advance notice causes expenses to our facility, i.e., purchases of food, labor commitments, ordering of supplies and equipment.  Deposits are forfeited when functions are cancelled with  less than 120  days notice.  When deposits are authorized to be refunded, an administration fee of 30% will be deducted from the refund. All deposits made for Christmas Parties are non-refundable.

PAYMENT...
Cash/Credit Card: Cash payment for your event must be paid Ten days prior to your event. Check: Personal checks, your bill must be paid 20 days  prior to your function.

Room Rentals For Conferences and Meetings

CATERING YOUR OWN EVENT...
The Gordon Club Conference Center has sufficient space to accommodate conferences and meetings. Rental fee for the Ball Room is $2000.00; Wheeler Room; Victoria Room $500.00; Gordon Room and Magnolia Room $300.00; Combination of Ball Room, Victoria Room, Wheeler Room $3000.00. This includes tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, two servers, one dishwasher, and use of the kitchen. To avoid paying rental fees, a patron who chooses one of the rooms must agree to spend the below listed amount in food and beverage to be prepared by our staff.

  • North Ball Room, $ 2500.00
  • South Ball Room, $ 2500.00
  • Victoria Room, $ 900.00
  • Wheeler Room, $ 800.00
  • Magnolia Room, $ 800.00
  • Gordon Room, $ 600.00
  • Entire North Side (North Ball Room, Wheeler Room & Victoria Room), $ 4000.00

To help assure the success of your event, please review the agreement carefully to be certain that all your requirements have been noted. Any requirements that are not on the catering contract are not binding.  Events are normally booked for periods of Five Hours. For Wedding Receptions, we realize that you may need time to decorate your room so the club will allow you into the facility Two Hours prior to your event. All other events will be allowed to enter the facility One hour prior to the event.

INTRODUCTION OF FOOD / BEVERAGES INTO THE CLUB...
Due to health and safety considerations, regulations we  do not permit the introduction of food or beverages by any patron or group for consumption within the facility.

GRATUITY /  SERVICE CHARGE...
A  gratuity of 10% and Service Chare of 8 % is added to the  total cost of the food and beverage portion of your function. This fee will be shared among all personnel who supported your event. An additional service charge/set up fee will be charged for all events catered outside of the facility.  There is an additional set up fee for a wedding receptions of $250.00 for each Ball Room, and $150.00 for each of the smaller rooms

DECORATIONS...
Table and  floor decorations such as flowers or balloons, are welcome for all functions.  However, because many items in the facility are unique, expensive, and can be easily damaged, items can not be affixed to the walls, ceilings, doors or fixtures without prior coordination with the  catering office.

MICROPHONES, PODIUMS AND AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT...
A podium with  microphone  is available at no charge.  There is a charge  for  audio/visual Equipment such as video screens, DVD players, projectors, televisions, etc..  Please discuss your requirements with the catering staff.

WEDDING RECEPTIONS...
We specialize in making this occasion a most memorable event.  We want to assure you that our attention to detail will make your wedding reception one of the most  cherished memories of your life.  We offer several complete, all-inclusive plans in all price ranges.  You may also  custom-design your arrangements or use a combination of  both.  We offer  seated dinners, seated buffet dinners and stand-up receptions.  In each category, there are various menus and options which enable you to tailor your reception as you would like.  Our attention to detail is designed to make your arrangements and planning smooth and worry-free.

SERVICES OUTSIDE OF THE FACILITY...
We can deliver food and rental items to an outside location, or cater your event at almost any location.  For labor and other costs associated with this service, please contact the catering office.

BEVERAGE (BAR) SERVICE...
Because of government and local regulations, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the facility for consumption by guests or patrons.  We offer a special bar services, and any type of beverages service that you may need. 

CASH (NO HOST) BAR - Your guests pay for their drinks at regular  price as they receive them.  The host, must sign a contract guaranteeing that the bar makes $200.00, or the host has to pay the facility the difference

OPEN BAR/HOSTED - Your guests do not pay for their drinks.  You pay for the amount they consume.  Each hosted bar must be at least $150.00 or more.  Open bars may be a pre-determined amount for an unlimited number of beverages during a specific period, e.g., one or two hours.

CONSUMPTION (LIMITATION) BAR - You set a dollar limit on the amount of beverages you wish to pay for.  When the limit is reached (as determined by the cash register), the bar is closed, or becomes a cash bar.

WINE AND CORDIAL SERVICE WITH MEALS - Table wines are available for all meals.  It is sold by the glass, half carafe, full carafe, or bottle.
