Times
Tee times are available daily
(weather permitting) 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. from Apr.-Sep. and 8:30 a.m. - 5:00
p.m. from Oct.-Mar. Tee time
reservations may be made either at the golf facilities or over the phone (706)
791-2433 or (706) 791-6854 for weekday play. Members and active duty military
may make tee time reservations 96 hours in advance. All others may make tee
time reservations 72 hours in advance.
Pro
Shop
Hours of operation are daily
7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. from Apr.-Sep. and 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. from Oct.-Mar. The shop carries a
complete line of quality golf equipment, golf shoes, gloves and miscellaneous
accessories. Golf equipment catalogs are available for those desiring to
special order equipment from manufacturers. We have
handicap services, locker rental, club rental, pull cart rental, and we have a
fleet of 100+ golf carts. Arrangement for lessons are available through the pro
shop also.

Grill at the Clubhouse is open to serve you! April -

Practice
Area
Gordon Lakes has a
large putting green, a practice bunker and a driving range available for those
who prefer to practice. Tokens can be purchased in the Pro Shop during regular
business hours for use in the
ball machines located on the practice range. The use of personal
"shag" balls is prohibited when the range is open. Golfers are not
allowed to go down range to pick up balls for any reason, as this constitutes
a safety hazard. Persons using the range will confine their practice to the
designated areas established for practicing.

Rules & Regulations
Dress Code... Gordon Lakes and
Center's dress policy is coordinated with the post policy. All persons using
the golf facilities must comply with the following dress standards for the
golf course and practice area:
1. Male participants are required to dress in good taste. Shirts must be worn at all times on and around the golf course premises. All
players must wear shoes acceptable for golf play. Shoes with built-up heels or
cleats are not acceptable for wear on the golf course. Other clothing apparel
such as sleeveless shirts, tank tops, muscle shirts, shirts designed for wear
as undergarments, fishnets, sweatshirts, P.T. attire, and uniform jerseys,
cut-off jeans, jogging shorts, short shorts, P.T. shorts, pants with holes,
swimwear, bare feet, full or partial military uniforms are not acceptable.
2. Female participants are required to wear golf attire in good taste.
Tank tops, T-shirts, halters, bathing attire, sweat
clothes, P.T. uniforms, cutoff jean shorts, short shorts, bare feet, partial or full military uniforms are not acceptable.
3. Spikeless golf
shoes are required on course.
Children...
Children under 8
years of age are to be supervised at all times. Any children under 8 years of age who have
shown golfing experience may play unaccompanied provided they are considered
qualified by the Golf Staff.
Pets... Pets are not
allowed on the golf course facilities, unless they are trained for a
physically impaired patron.
No
outside food and beverages allowed on Golf Courses.

Lessons
Individual lessons
can be made upon request in the Pro Shop. Junior Circuit group lessons will be held
periodically. All juniors between the ages of 8 to 17, of authorized
users are welcome to attend for a nominal charge. GLGC and Center also support
the Master City Junior Golf Program.

*Golf cart rental is on a per seat
basis, $13.00 ($15.00/non-member per seat). That means
if you have two on one cart the fee is $26.00 ($30.00 for non-members). Also what this means that if you come out as an odd #
we only charge the odd person for their seat in the cart, we do not charge for
the full cart. Although the starter has the authority to pair up all single
riders and fill the cart up. If the patrons refuse to be paired up and ride
together then the patron must pay for the full cart fee. |
