Army Community Service Relocation Readiness is the one-stop for anyone moving to Fort Gordon, or leaving for the next duty station.
Relocation is one of the three most stressful life events, and military personnel do it often; let us help you make it easier. Relocation Readiness can provide information on your next duty station, tell you all about Fort Gordon and Augusta, explain your entitlements, and help you pull it all together so it makes sense.
Arriving Army enlisted personnel reporting to Darling Hall should go to Room 207; officers report to Room 262. All arriving Army and Air Force personnel must attend our newcomer orientation, which is held each Monday and Thursday afternoon at 1300. Stop by our office in Darling Hall, Room 172, for the location of the orientation.
Service Members on Permissive TDY for house hunting in conjunction with PCS leave must report to the Housing Services Office in Room 129, Darling Hall, on the FIRST DAY of PTDY and receive a housing stamp and date on their DA 31 leave form. If the leave form is not properly stamped and dated by housing, finance will charge you regular annual leave instead of PTDY.
Our lending closet is located in Room 172. We typically offer kitchen kits (dishes, cookware, utensils, toaster, coffee maker), microwaves, cots, cribs, high chairs, irons, and ironing boards.
Need to use a computer? Our welcome center in Room 172 has computers available for printing documents, completing surveys required during inprocessing, setting up household goods shipments, checking mail, etc.

If you’re leaving for a duty station other than Fort Gordon, official information is available for most US installations, worldwide, on Military INSTALLATIONS.
